"I had two procedures done with Dr. Paresi earlier this year and I truly could not be happier. I had done extensive research and even went to another consultation with a different doctor before going to Dr.Paresi. The first place I went to for a consult had terrible customer service, acted as if they were doing me a favor, and were completely dismissive of all my questions and concerns. "Fantastic Results! I started researching surgeons in my area about 5 years ago who performed drainless Tummy Tucks. I picked Dr. Paresi based on his experience and all of the positive reviews from his previous patients. I had a Tummy Tuck and liposuction performed on January 2021. I suffered some severe post-op nausea & vomiting, but Dr. Paresi and his staff were always there to guide me through this and within a week I was on the road to recovery. "10 Days Away!! - I decided to share my journey since reading others helped me make my decision. I am ten days out from my drainless tummy tuck with lipo of flanks, sides and arms. "I had a skin only tummy tuck in April after losing close to 100 lbs in my late teen years. I had been researching plastic surgeons for years and came across Dr Paresi. I ultimately decided to go with him due to his bedside manner. During the consultation, he did not try to sell me on additional procedures like several other plastic surgeons. He was kind, patient and easy to talk to. The day of the surgery went faster than what was planned. Other than some wound separation on week 3, the process was smooth and easy. "I visited four other doctors before I met Dr. Paresi and let me tell you, he was by far the most polite, most sensible, the most patient, and the most understanding out of all the doctors I met with. When I left his office, I knew he was the one I wanted to do my procedures. His bedside manner, his calmness, his ability to understand what I wanted, and my comfort level with him, had me excited about my tummy tuck and lipo. I had many questions and he answered each one. "It has been exactly 1 year since my rhinoplasty, and to put it simply, it has changed my life completely. My nose was a huge insecurity of mine, and as a male teenager, I felt out of place talking about it or even considering getting a rhinoplasty. "Dr Paresi performed a tummy tuck with liposuction and lower eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) for me in April 2023. It’s been almost 2 months since my surgeries and I’m very happy with the results! Dr Paresi uses a special technique for the tummy tuck so that drains are not needed. My recovery has been quick with minimal pain and discomfort. My tummy is much flatter now and my belly button looks very natural. My eyes look great too! Dr Paresi is double board certified., and he and his team of professionals are all caring and wonderful. "The past few years I felt older than I wanted to. Stress, gravity/aging and pandemic, so I decided to research upper eyelid surgery. I felt quite anxious about getting work done on my eyes. Kim, Regina, Susan, Dr Paresi and other surgery staff are a great team. Communication is thorough and each step well organized. I felt welcomed and that I was in caring, knowledgeable hands. Dr Paresi is ‘down to earth’ and very skilled - an artist at his work. My eyes look great 5 weeks after the procedure, more even in size, brighter and I feel 10 years younger. "I can’t say enough about Dr Paresi and staff. I came to home for gynecomastia surgery(male breast reduction) I was a complex case as I was quite large. I was concerned about any scarring that would result from the procedure. Dr Parsi came up with a plan and I had the surgery. It was done with minimal scarring. In time I healed and had too much excess skin as it’s hard to tell how a body will react to such a surgery. I was disappointed with the result but when I came in for a follow up Dr Paresi was unhappy as well he told me I needed a second surgery. I understood and asked what the cost would be. His replied there is no extra cost that he wanted the best result for me and it would not cost a thing. I had the second surgery and the results were great. "EXtended tummy tuck after weightloss - Everyone at the office was very helpful and available to answer questions at any time! Dr. Paresi did a great job! I was not an average tummy tuck patient as I had several abdominal surgeries as well as a large weightloss. I am currently 3 1/2 months postop and I'm excited to see the final result!Updated on 10 Jun 2022:If realself would let me change the stars I would. To be fair I understand that my stomach was a mess. But at the bottom of my incision I have a terrible scar! It was not there before I had the surgery I have before and after pictures and I can only assume it was my old belly button… I went in to discuss this because it’s really bad. I was basically fluffed off and told that it’s not fixable. Now I have to go to another doctor and pay to have it fixed. After I was extremely upset at the office because of how much I paid and it now felt like a waste of money, Suddenly they said that Dr. Paresi would fix it and it would be fine. I didn’t understand why the office staff said that he could fix it but he clearly told me in the office that he could not he could try but he didn’t see it getting any better. On top of that I am in constant pain in my upper abdomen and no one can seem to figure out why. I’ve been to the emergency room until the doctor, i’m assuming potentially it’s scar tissue because I had had several abdominal surgeries before. I understand that I did not start out with a beautiful canvas. But to spend that kind of money and to be so disappointed and have to have someone else fix the scar isn’t great:("

"360 Liposuction! - In the past couple of years, I'd noticed a lot of braline back fat that was not budging. I was getting pretty tired of wearing shapewear on a daily basis and had a closet full of sexy tops and form fitting dresses I had not worn for ages. Time to figure this out. There was no way at 62 that I was going to lose the 25-30 pounds I figured would be necessary to give me back the look I had in my 30's. And, even if I did lose that weight, no guarantee it would come off in the places I really needed to pare down. So, my search began on RS for a doctor who had great results with liposuction on older women who DID not want a TT. I found Dr. Robert Paresi in Downers Grove, IL. After an initial consultation with him August 2018, I put off the surgery. But, when the weather began to warm up this spring, the idea of having the braline liposuction became an obsession. I saw Dr. Paresi again April 2019. After Dr. Paresi saw me again, he said I was a good candidate for a 360 liposuction and that I probably would not be happy with just the back fat removal since I would still have the belly fat and abdominal area untreated. He said to get a really great result, I should consider a 360 liposuction instead. Since I had no cellulite and only a couple of faint stretch marks on my hips, he felt my skin would contract well and no TT would be needed. I was firmly against a TT due to the scarring. At first, I was kind of in shock since I'd never considered this procedure and left without booking the appointment. He is a very kind and caring doctor who really listens to what you are trying to achieve in doing the surgery that you are requested of him. I had a partial face lift and did a full facial laser treatment and rhinoplasty surgery all at one time last year and went home feeling great and no pain meds needed at all. I would attribute that a lot to the special care of the doctor during the surgery and his wonderful staff as well. "I Highly Recommend Dr. Paresi for any Facial Procedures as I have experienced two of his surgeries and been very pleased.. He is a very kind and caring doctor who really listens to what you are trying to achieve in doing the surgery that you are requested of him. He will talk you through everything in detail and is very professional. I had a partial face lift and did a full facial laser treatment and rhinoplasty surgery all at one time last year and went home feeling great and no pain meds needed at all. I would attribute that a lot to the special care of the doctor during the surgery and his wonderful staff as well. I never had any procedures before and I was petrified. Reading reviews on this site didn't help (even the smallest procedures sounded scary to me - pain, swelling, bruising, etc.). Well, with Dr Paresi, I was in for a surprise - at consultation he sounded confident and acted like this is not a big deal at all. And it wasn't. I read previously "get someone to drive you, take at least a week before you try to get back to "normal", have painkillers ready" etc. So, I did all that, I was prepared. Procedure took about 45 minutes, wasn't painful at all. I had my husband drive me home and was prepared to spend the day in bed (it's a surgery after all). It still wasn't painful but I thought it's anestetic, it will ware off and then the fun will begin. An hour later, still nothing, I was perfectly fine and bored so I went shopping. Still waiting for the pain to hit, I took one painkiller before I went to bed that night as a precaution. Slept fine, woke up still without the pain (accept to the touch but nothing major). And that was it. It was only better from then on. My dentist visits are more unpleasant than this was! I had some swelling and bruising but with arnica that went away really fast. As for results, I could see some right away. Only regret I have is that I didn't do it sooner. As for Dr. Paresi, he's obviously at top of this game. I am so glad I picked him after very long research. I have to say, I was little skeptical about the high ratings he had (ALL ratings are great, I mean, who has that?) but now I understand, totally deserved! I went to Dr. Paresi for a consult and he told me the truth. I was never going to have that stomach. My abdominal muscles had been separated in two areas from pregnancy. I have heard so many stories about breast reductions here is my unfiltered experienced. I was a nervous wreck leading up to the day thinking about being put to sleep, blood clots, the after pains. I do love to eat so not having a meal from the might before was a challenge but it was worth it. I had all my supplies and sports bras ready for post op. I remember lying on the operating table listening to the movements no more time for nerves this was happening..Dr Waterman was ready to put me under he said this proferol will burn a bit but not for long, omg was he right it burned going through my veins in my left arm but the next thing I knew I was waking up in recovery with my family and friends.The operation was roughly 4 hours but everything from start to finish seemed like 10mins if so much. The office environment is not as amenable to wearing the compression garment, and there was still some pain. The surgery itself was...challenging. "Receiving the news that I had breast cancer was quite shocking and I'm not sure it has sunk in yet. But, the treatment i have received from Dr. Paresi and his staff has been remarkably good. Dr. Paresi made a good choice in placing an expander on the right side as cancer was found in one lymph node and it wasn't determined during surgery if I would need chemo or radiation. They have gone above and beyond what I could have even imagined and made me feel like their only patient and only priority. During this journey I decided to use laughter as my coping mechanism and we have had some good laughs. I actually feel like part of the plastics dept family. "Very Good - I am very happy with my results. It is a process. The swelling didn't go down as fast as I hoped. I was able to go back to work after a week. The face numbness is still lingering after three mo., but there is no pain, some morning stiffness. All in all, it has been an experience and am happy I had it done. "I went in for a consultation with Dr. Paresi for a rhinoplasty and septoplasty. Him and his staff are very nice and professional.
