This is a 50 year-old smoker who presented to the office with a biopsy positive basal cell carcinoma of the upper lip. She had mohs excision of the basal cell carcinoma under local anesthesia. Once the margins were confirmed negative with frozen section margin analysis, the defect with reconstructed with a full thickness skin graft from the left preauricular area and a vermilion advancement flap. Notice the lip lines were restored and the skin graft was a good color match.
