Necklift in 20 year-old Chicagoland female in Downers Grove, IL*

This is a 20 year-old female who presented to the office with complaints of neck fat, poor jawline definition, and neck laxity. On exam, she had a prominent submental fat pad, mild jowls, and central platysmal banding. Although she was younger than our average patient for a neck lift procedure, given her findings we recommended a submentoplasty. She had the procedure done in our AAAASF-accredited facility in Downers Grove, IL under local anesthesia. The procedure involved liposuction of the neck and a submentoplasty which is done via a submental incision. The patient's procedure took about one hour and the full recovery was six weeks. After an uneventful recovery, the patient noted a significant improvement in her neck contour and jawline and more angularity in her front profile. She was very happy with her results.
