Eight year-old female who struck her chin while playing sports and sustained a right mandibular condyle fracture. The patient was seen in the emergency room and had arch bars placed in the operating room to wire the jaws shut for two weeks. The patient was then placed in elastics for four more weeks and at that time had complete healing of the condylar fracture and full jaw movement.
