Short Scar Facelift in Downers Grove, IL by Dr Paresi*

This is a 50 year-old female who presented to the office with signs of facial aging. Her biggest areas of concern were the laxity in her neck and her loss of facial volume. We recommended a short scar facelift, upper and lower blepharoplasties, microfat transfer to the face, nanofat transfer to the tear trough, and platelet rich plasma to decrease bruising and swelling. The patient had the procedure under local anesthesia at our office-based operating room in Downers Grove, IL. We used platelet rich plasma (PRP) and tranexamic acid to decrease postoperative bruising and swelling. The patient had an uneventful postoperative course with less bruising and swelling. She has a much softer, youthful appearance at 2 months after surgery.
