Lip Lift in 57 year-old Chicagoland female in Downers Grove, IL*

This patient is a 57 year-old female who presented to the office with complaints of very thin upper lips. She stated that even with lipstick she barely had any lips. On exam, she had a long upper lip with minimal visibility of the pink part of her lips. We discussed a lip lift procedure that could be done under local anesthesia and his restore proportionality to her upper lip length and improve the visibility of the pink part of her upper lips with eversion. She tolerated the procedure well and had an uneventful recovery. The patient noted that she was considering fillers before the procedure but was happy with her lips after the procedure.
