Upper Eyelid Lift in a 71 year-old Chicagoland female in Downers Grove, IL*

This is a 71 year-old female who presented to the office with complaints of excess skin of the upper eyelids which were making her appear sleepy. On exam, she had hooding of the upper eyelids with the excess skin sitting on the upper eyelashes. This was resulting in a sleepy/angry appearance. She had bilateral upper blepharoplasties (eyelid lift) done in our office-based, AAAASF certified, surgical facility under local anesthesia. The patient had an uneventful postoperative course and was completely recovered by two weeks.
