Lower Eyelid Surgery for Lower Eyelid Bags in Downers Grove, IL*

This patient presented with complaints of lower eyelid bags and wrinkles. She wanted her eyes lifted and the bags removed. We discussed removing some fat and moving some fat to correct the dark circles under her eyes and remove the bulging. We also discussed removing some of the skin excess to correct the lower eyelid wrinkles. We performed bilateral transconjunctival blepharoplasties with removal and transposition of fat to remove the bulges. We also performed a pinch blepharoplasty for removal of some of the excess skin of the lower eyelids using an incision just under the lower eyelashes. She did very well and the operation corrected her lower eyelid bags and bulging as well as some of the skin excess. Her incisions are not visible and the bulging of her lower eyelids is resolved.
