Treatment of Gynecomastia using minimally invasive approach in Downers Grove, IL*

This is a 39 year-old male who presented to the office with complaints of man boobs. The patient developed the gynecomastia after use of anabolic steroids five years prior. We recommended excision of the gynecomastia under general anesthesia given the large size of the glandular tissue. The patient had excision of the gynecomastia using our minimally invasive technique via a single 8 mm incision on the lateral aspect of his chest. The surgery was done at our AAAASF accredited, office-based surgical facility in Downers Grove, IL. The patient had an uneventful postoperative course and had a full recovery at 3 months.
