This is a 50 year-old female with strong family history of breast cancer and newly diagnosed right breast cancer who opted for bilateral mastectomies and immediate reconstruction with expanders. She had an immediate breast reconstruction with tissue expanders and Alloderm after bilateral mastectomies. Four weeks after the reconstruction, she started the expansion process in the office which took about 3 months. She subsequently had her second stage surgery with placement of permanent anatomical 580 ccs silicone breast implants in the expanded breast pocket. Three months after the placement of the permanent implants the patient had bilateral nipple reconstruction with local CV flaps in the operating room. Three months after her incisions healed, she had bilateral areolar tattooing to complete the reconstruction process. The entire process of reconstruction of her breasts took about 10 months.
