Breast Implants with Lift in 45 year-old Chicagoland female in Downers Grove, IL*

This is a 45 year-old female who presented to the office with complaints of loss of breast volume and droopiness of her breasts. We discussed a breast lift with augmentation with silicone breast implants. The patient did sizing in the office and we did a 3D simulation of Mentor Smooth Round 405 cc Moderate Plus Profile Silicone Breast Implants with the Crisalix 3D imaging software in the office. The patient had her surgery at our AAAASF accredited surgical facility in Downers Grove, IL. We placed the implant via a periareolar incision in the submuscular position using a Keller Funnel to place the Mentor Smooth Round 405 ccs Moderate Plus Profile Silicone breast implant. A periareolar lift, or mastopexy was performed using the periareolar incision which lifted the nipple areolar complex to the right position on the breasts. The patient had Exparel (liposomal Marcaine) injected around each breast to decrease postoperative pain and reduce the need for postoperative narcotics. The patient had an uneventful postoperative course. At 3 months postoperatively, the patient had a nice cosmetic result with correction of the nipple areolar position to the center of the breast mound and an attractive overall breast shape.
