35 year-old Laser Liposuction of Abdomen and Waist in Downers Grove, IL*

This 35 year-old physically fit female presented to the office with complaints of inability to lose her belly and waist fat despite diet and exercise. She wanted a narrower waist and trimmer belly. She had laser liposuction of the abdomen and flanks under local anesthesia. She was awake for the procedure using tumescent technique and tolerated it very well. The entire procedure took about 2 hours. We used a power-assisted liposuction machine and the latest generation 80 W Smartlipo laser to treat the areas. This allowed for more skin contraction and better contouring. The patient noted a significant improvement in her waistline and a much flatter tummy.
