This is a 36 year-old Hispanic female who presented to the office with changes to her abdominal appearance after pregnancy. On exam, the patient had extensive stretch marks, a lower abdominal pannus, and a central muscle separation. We recommended a full Drainless tummy tuck with Exparel and liposuction of the waist and back bra rolls. This would be done at our AAAASF accredited, office-based operating room in Downers Grove, IL. We used our drainless technique with Exparel (liposomal Marcaine) for better postoperative pain control. The area of the rectus plication was injected at the time of surgery. The patient had an uneventful postoperative course with return to full activity at six weeks after surgery.
