Liposuction and BBL in 24 year-old Chicago area female in Downers Grove, IL*

The patient presented to the office for liposuction of the abdomen, waist and lower back in combination with a BBL(fat transfer to the buttocks, a.k.a. Brazilian Butt Lift). She wanted additional volume to the hips and overall improvement in buttocks shape from a masculine square shape to more feminine, rounded hips, and more fullness of the buttocks. The procedure was done under general anesthesia to allow for the BBL at our JCAHO accredited facility in Downers Grove, IL. The liposuction was performed with the MicroAire power-assisted liposuction (PAL) machine and the Smartlipo laser. The fat was processed for transfer to the buttocks using the Wells Johnson High Volume Precision Autograft system. This is an enclosed system that allows for processing of the fat and vibratory lipofilling with the MicroAire PAL device. This is a high volume precision system designed specifically for fat transfer procedures. The vibratory lipofilling allows for transfer of the fat using the MicroAire liposuction machine which uses vibration allowing for a more even distribution of fat at a constant rate of injection. The system also measures the pressure at the injection site avoiding overfilling in high pressure areas. She has a stable result at 6 months. Aggressive liposuction of her waist and lower back accentuates her overall BBL result. Also notice the overall improvement in her waist and lower back contour compared to the preoperative photo.
