Upper and Lower Eyelid Surgery in Chicago area Hispanic female in Downers Grove*

This 58 year-old female presented to the office with complaints of excess skin of the upper and lower eyelids and a tear trough deformity bilaterally. We recommended upper and lower eyelid surgery (blepharoplasties) to be done in our JCAHO accredited facility in Downers Grove, IL. The patient had the procedure done under oral sedation and local anesthesia. The lower eyelids were treated via a subciliary incision at the lash line which did not disturb her lash line tattoo. This allowed for excision of the excess skin of the lower eyelids. The upper eyelids were treated with skin excision using a tarsal fold incision. Notice the imperceptible lower eyelid scar and the hidden upper eyelid incisions. The patient has a smooth contour of her lower eyelids as well as a symmetrical upper eyelid crease. Nanofat was processed from the flank area and used to transfer fat to each tear trough area and the lower eyelids. This allowed for correction of the tear trough deformity.
