Procedure Technique
After your consultation, you will be prepped for your Bellafill treatment. The injection sites will be cleansed and marked as you relax in one of our procedure rooms. If requested, a numbing cream can be applied to your skin before the injection to help you feel more comfortable. Once you are ready, the Bellafill will be injected using a fine needle in the selected points. After the injections are complete, a cold compress will be applied to your face to minimize swelling and stop any bleeding.
What to Expect
After getting Bellafill, you will be able to return to normal activities right away, but you should avoid exercise and strenuous activity for at least 24 hours. You may experience swelling, redness, bruising, itching, and discoloration, but these are only temporary and will resolve anywhere from within a few hours to a week after your treatment. You should be able to see immediate improvements right away that last for up to five years. During your consultation, Dr. Paresi will discuss how often you should get Bellafill injections to sustain or improve your results.
