Otoplasty on a 27 year old female in Downers Grove, IL*

27 year-old female with a history of prominent ears since she was a child. The patient had an otoplasty, or ear pinning, under local anesthesia at our JCAHO accredited facility in Downers Grove, IL. The procedure was done though a postauricular incision with suturing techniques to create the natural folding of the ear. The patient had an uneventful postoperative course and was happy with the results.
